Boston Region Entrepreneurship Week is shining a spotlight on the entrepreneurial spirit in and around Boston.
Born out of an “aha” moment by Joe Caruso, Advocate for Entrepreneurs for 20 years, Boston Region Entrepreneurship Week (BREW) began in 2010 as a week of celebrating everything related to launching and nurturing companies in the Boston area.
Joe’s vision was a week long series of events, hosted by the actual community that provides resources and infrastructure to entrepreneurs, to highlight Greater Boston as a center of excellence for all things related to conceiving, launching, and building new enterprises – from the local dry cleaner to publicly held technology-enabled enterprises.
The inaugural event calender featured over 100 events and allowed people from Boston to Worcester to the South Shore to get involved with their entrepreneurial community. There were giveaways and promotions and we are excited to be embarking on the 3rd BREW celebration!
It’s easy to get involved. By hosting a BREW event, you are simply committing to share your knowledge, advice, space, time or resources to help educate or promote the great entrepreneurial spirit that exists in your community. BREW will assist with promoting your event on the calendar on www.brewboston.org, as well as work with you to be sure you have a successful turn out.
Join us in celebrating between October 15 – 26, 2012
